The Ministry of Justice has published the Employment Tribunal quarterly statistics for the period October – December 2017.
29% of all tribunal receipts were employment tribunals.
In October – December 2017 single ET claims increased by 90%
3,337 refund payments were made with a total value of £2,758,316
8,173 single claims were received
31,921 multiple claims received
31% of jurisdictional complaints disposed of were ACAS conciliated settlements, 21% were withdrawn, and 8% were successful at hearing.
The most common jurisdictional complaint disposed of were seen in Unauthorised deductions (formerly Wages Act)
