The Ministry of Justice has published the Employment Tribunal quarterly statistics for the period July – September 2017.
25% of all tribunal receipts were employment tribunals.
In July – September overall receipts increased by 64%
7,042 single claims were received
23,297 multiple claims received
The employment tribunal disposed of 10,165 claims
22% of jurisdictional complaints disposed of were ACAS conciliated settlements, 8% were withdrawn, and 5% were successful at hearing.
The most common jurisdictional complaint disposed of were seen in Unauthorised deductions (formerly Wages Act)
